The Plan:
Tuesday: Students worked on writing their rough draft for their paper for the End-of-the-Year Writing Benchmark in class today.

The students will be writing to the end- of-the-year writing benchmark prompt this week. They were given directions and three sources to analyze last Friday to aid them in writing their paper. The final copy of the paper is due no later than at the end of class this Thursday, May 2.
All Independent Reading Books are expected to be read and the Book Report Form completed and turned in by the beginning of class this Friday, May 3. At that time, the students will be given the directions and choices for their final projects. They will have the entire class periods next Monday-Wednesday, May 6-8, to complete their projects. The projects are due, and will be presented in class on Thursday, May 9.
Friday, May 10, is OWP on the campus of MSU. If your child signed up to attend, be watching for directions and parking information to be coming home with your child soon.
