In English Language Arts this week, the students will be
taking the beginning of the year assessments.
Since we have both Performance Testing and a Writing Benchmark to take,
students will be taking the Performance Test in the lab during Social Studies
class on Monday and Tuesday, and the Writing Benchmark will be taken in English
class Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. That way, we can get through all of the
testing in one week and get back to our unit over Story Elements and Plot
Analysis.
