Today in class, the students took their second Writing
Warm-Up Quiz. Then they shared what they
had done in the Visualization activity last Friday with their teammates. Since the students turned in their Reading
Log # 2 last Friday, they will be given new logs this Tuesday in class along
with the new Writing Warm-Up packet with the next nine lessons. The grammar skills that will be introduced in
this packet are pronouns. Students will
also practice writing factual statements and opinion statements.
Students should have their Independent Reading Book finished
and the Book Report Form completed by the due date of this Friday, Oct. 4. This is the day they will be given their 1st
quarter project over that book. The
projects will be presented in class next Thursday and Friday, Oct. 10 & 11.
