Students will take the final Writing Warm-Up Quiz on Monday.Since they will be taking the MAP test in their homerooms Tuesday through Thursday, their reading assignments in The City of Ember will be shortened to just reading, but no Literature Circle Tasks will be expected.
Because of the Performance testing and the End of the Year Writing benchmarks coming up in class, the students will not be required to turn in a 4th quarter Book Report Form for their Independent Reading Book.That way, they will be able to devote their time to finishing The City of Ember and completing the final project for that book.

- Finished reading and tasks for Ch. 10&11
- Held Literature Circle Discussions
- Open-book quiz tomorrow over Ch. 10&11
